Hello, or sawatdee, as we say in Thai. I am Niran. We came to Australia from Thailand when I was two years old and, except for a few visits back to see relatives, we have lived here ever since. Last year Mum, Dad and I got our Australian citizenship, so now we're officially Aussies! Or, I should say, Aussies with a Thai twist. I speak Thai at home and my family belongs to the Thai Buddhist community here is Brisbane, so my way of looking at life is always going to be a little different from a lot of other peoples'.
