The Maths / Play series provides photocopiable work sheets that reinforce essential numeracy skills in a sporting context. Topics in Motor Sports include Formula 1, rally driving, motorcycle racing, comparing car performances and results from driving events. As well as practising fundamental maths skills, students will build problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The units of work, suitable for years 710, will also engage less able students with an interest in sports and real-world maths.
