Linda Bloomfield has been involved with pottery since 1973, although her career path led her to train as a materials scientist; she holds a PhD in Materials Science from Warwick University. After stints as a visiting scholar at MIT in Boston and as a researcher in Japan and the UK, she set up her current studio in London in 2001. Since 2003 she has been selling through galleries and shops across the UK and internationally, and her tableware is used in several high-end restaurants. She currently lives in London and is a frequent contributor to Ceramic Review.
Linda's previous books include New Ceramics- Colour in Glazes, The Handbook of Glaze Recipes, and Contemporary Tableware.
