Melanie LaBarge holds a BA in women's studies and an MA in women's, gender, and sexuality studies. She has facilitated courses in Gender and Art, Art History, and Global Feminisms and Literature. She is mum to Julian, age six. Women Artists A to Z is her first children's book.

Caroline Corrigan (Illustrator)
Caroline Corrigan holds a BFA in studio art and is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator living and working in upstate New York. She is the co-founder of several upstate institutions, including the Half Moon Market, a weekend marketplace event in Albany, New York. She is mum to Graham, age one. Women Artists A to Z is her first children's book.
