The world is in danger, but only a few can actually see it. Ashley Torrance, seventeen, has a secret. She can see things others cannot, something deep inside them, their true nature. Behind their human facades lie beings inhabited by a dark fire. Who are these monsters, and what do they want? Along with Bruce and Sunny, two others that share her ability, Ashley decides to seek out a man named Pilgrim, the only one who seems to know the truth in this original graphic novel. The world is in danger, but only a few can actually see it. Thomas Day was born in Paris on December 1971, and has been a full-time writer since 1996. He is the author of a dozen novels, and comics like the Wika series with Olivier Ledroit and A Glimpse of Ashes with Aurelien Police. He wrote the text (all or part) for three beautiful books- 92 bis, Denfert Street (paintings by Marie Mallard), Fairies & Amazons (drawings by Olivier Ledroit), and Gotland (drawings by Nicolas Fructus, model of Franck Achard). He has been contributing to Bifrost magazine since the first issue, published in April 1996.Freelance illustrator and graphic designer Aurelien Police was born in France in 1978. He works on projects for the music and publishing industries (book covers, CD design, childrens book illustrations). He uses computers as a melting pot to mix up all sorts of raw materials, erasing the frontiers between media so as to provide his pictures with a graphic finish of his own. Flirting with various fantasy, detective, and supernatural themes allows him to translate into pictures his own personal vision of those genres.
