Daviv Schlessinger and the crew of the Turtle descended to the ocean depths with an ambitious objective - to establish communication with the whales. They had no idea they would encounter a species more intelligent than humankind, and even less could the imagine being captured for study.
Their captors were honorable and kind, and intended to eventualy release them back to the wild. Captain Kate Kominsky (retired from the disbanded Soviet Navy) was livid at the takeover of her ship.
