Laura Greaves is an award-winning author, journalist and proud crazy dog lady. (Well, they don't give out awards for that last one - but they should!) This is her first book for younger readers, but she is also the author of the canine collections The Rescuers, Dogs with Jobs and Incredible Dog Journeys, as well as three novels for grown-ups. Laura's favourite things are dogs, reading and waffles, in that order. She lives in the beautiful Blue Mountains, near Sydney, with her family and their two dogs, two guinea pigs and one goldfish.
